Debdale Riding School is a professional & friendly Riding school in Cookley Kidderminster

Here at Debdale Riding School, we are a Livery Yard and Riding School we cater for all. Whatever your age or ability, we aim to make learning to ride fun, whilst learning how to stay safe and progressing through the levels, those wishing to either learn to ride or to improve their existing riding skills. We provide lessons for complete beginners up to competition level riders in all equestrian disciplines. We take children and adults for private, Semi-Private and group lessons but will always ensure that no more than 7 are in a group to enable you to get the most out of your time riding. Whether you are a pleasure or serious rider, we have a horse and instructor to suit your needs to help you achieve your own personal goals.
Riding has been taught here for over 32 years since 1991 in a family run business Megan Is the second generation into the riding school in which she has been brought up around horses and Debdale her whole life.  Her mom Kate Prichard was the founder of Debdale Riding school and since early 2023 has solely been taken over by Megan who believes learning to ride should be accessible to all, this should be your escape from the real world.
All our staff are DBS checked, hold safeguarding certificates & first aiders with the relevant governing bodies.
Debdale Riding School advocates safety in all riding situations, whether that’s being on the ground with your horse or aboard. Customers are not only taught how to ride in a safe environment, but they are also taught correctly and with values such as respecting the horses in mind and welfare of health.
